T.R. Edwards officially defects to the Invid, kidnapping Lynn Minmei and destroying the SDF-3’s capabilities, leading to a massive, damaging battle. Admiral Rick Hunter orders Captain Vince Grant to pursue Edwards to the Invid homeworld of Optera using the upgraded battle fortress Tokugawa.
