Synopsis:
Part Two: Returning Favors, script by James Hudnall, pencils by Scott Benefiel, inks by Mike Christian and Jordi Ensign; Choice exits a nightclub to find Hardcase gravely injured by lacerations against his chest and stomach; Hardcase is in a state between life and death like a drifting soul and can only witness when Hardwire, the ultra that hurt Hardcase, attacks; Thankfully, Choice summoned her shield ability and was safe against the attack; Choice takes Hardcase’s body and brings it to a hospital so they can heal him; Hardcase believes he sees the soul of Starburst and she tells him that it was not his time to die. His regenerative abilities are ultra-human so his condition stabilizes quickly; Meanwhile, Rex Mundi gives the Omega Team and Quattro a mission that will take them to the moon.
