Hyperion finds Stanley Stewart (the Blur) spying on the cave where he has been using a behavior modification device to ensure that other super-powered beings are loyal to his cause.
Nighthawk, along with Emil Burbank, Arcanna Jones, Shape, and Nuke, are holding a meeting when Wyatt McDonald (Black Archer) and Jim Dore (Blue Eagle) storm the building. Wyatt and Jim fall back when they realize that Nuke is present, and call for backup from Hyperion. Nighthawk, Burbank, Jones, and Shape flee along with Kingsley.
Hyperion from the normal Supreme Power universe (“Mark”), trying to decide whether or not to interfere, is confronted by the Hyperion from the dominated universe (“Hyperion”). Hyperion tells Mark that there will be no peace for him and no rest for the poor and downtrodden until he takes control of his world as Hyperion is doing. Hyperion brings Mark to the site where the second alien ship landed (which brought Zarda to Earth). The ship has grown, manifesting alien technologies. When Mark asks how Hyperion can be certain that he will also make the same decisions, Hyperion produces a piece of paper showing exactly the question which mark asked, revealing that this is a possible future of a universe very similar to, if not the same as, that which Mark came from.
Hyperion attempts to get Stanley to eat some food. It has been two years that Stanley has been kept as a prisoner. Hyperion can’t bring himself to use the behavior modification machine on Stanley, but he knows that he also cannot release him, and he cannot bring himself to kill him.
