Description

Synopsis: Featuring story and art by Yoshihisa Tagami with an English adaptation by Len Wein), titled “Omen 1”, introduces laboratory assistants Zen Amako and Shuichi Aiga alongside their boss Shoko Yobuno. In this opening chapter, the characters become mysteriously linked to a triangle-edged sacred animal mirror that connects with two pure-blooded male demons. Unbeknownst to them at this early stage, Zen and Shuichi are pure-blooded demon siblings, one of whom—Zen—is fated to trigger Horobi, meaning total world destruction, while Shuichi is destined to oppose him and save the world. The issue sets up the dark fantasy and psychological sci-fi premise as bizarre psychic phenomena and dream connections begin to manifest from human anxiety.
